The hotel is really cute with interesting decoration and atmosphere. I appreciated how they handled our reservation that was a complicated one, divided in three separate parts. Especially, the fact that they took into account my preference for a specific room and they reserved it for our whole stay, although they explained when I made the booking that this might not be feasible. The room was spotlessly clean. There was an issue with the drain in the shower at some point, but the staff handled it effectively and without being intrusive in the room, exactly as I had requested. The breakfast room was beautiful and the breakfast itself acceptable, but without being something special. The location of the hotel is a little off center of London. We needed about half an hour, taking the Tube to reach most London attractions, which for the size of London might not be that much. The Bank station, though, which is at the limits of central London and an underground hub for many lines, is only two stops away from the Limehouse station, which serves the hotel (5 min walk). The hotel is located on an avenue and a neighbourhood with not much to do around. However, it is very close to the picturesque Limehouse basin, and we enjoyed a lot the stroll from the hotel, through St Catherine's area, and following the Thames path along the river. The walk took about an hour and revealed many interesting places in that residential area. In summary, we loved the hotel and the staff. If I was to consider something before booking next time to the Limehouse Library hotel, that would be only the location. However, that would probably not stop me from booking again and definitely from highly recommending it.

What a beautifully unique find. This has to be one of the best hotels I've stayed in. So beautiful, so quirky and attention to detail second to none. Fantastic value! I stayed with my 17 year old son and we were devastated that we didn't have time to fully make use of our stay. With spa facilities included in the price, it was extremely good value. We had a twin room that was designed around a Japanese author. Each room had a theme/muse. Our room was light with a double and a single bed. A mini bar, coffee machine, water, dressing gowns, slippers and shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and body lotion. Air conditioning on both sides of the room and a great shower. Spotlessly clean! The hotel is decorated beautifully and is covered in amazing items from curios to old toys to plants and books. There's a library, study room, garden and terrace, to name a few. The only thing that made me give it a 9 was the noise from the outside road. Not really the hotels fault but I did check the window wasn't open as it was quite loud. That said, I'm used to the very quiet countryside! Staff were very friendly and I was given a rose for mother's day when chewing in

There was exceptional artwork around/in every corner - impressive galleries right there within the hotel! The staff and proprietor were so lovely and hospitable, they made us truly feel like guests in their special, beautiful home. I opted for an express massage in the spa which was lovely and professional, very helpful after long hours of travel! The food is amazing, the details in each room are prepared with care (from theme room inspired books to a framed poem written by a previous guest) each touch was appreciated ie: GOOD coffee and tea, complimentary nuts and cookies upon arrival - along with a personalized welcome note! The sauna and Turkish bath are clean and gorgeous, and the location is steps from the picturesque Limehouse Basin, The tube, and buses. I just love this place and will recommend it to anyone going to London! THANK YOU LIMEHOUSE LIBRARY HOTEL

I was attending a gig at Troxy and the location of the hotel was perfect, and I appreciated the midday checkout time so I could have a lie-in! The hotel itself is beautiful, it's decorated in such a fun and unique way which I loved - there was so much to look at and I loved the themed rooms. I was upgraded to the Gilgamesh suite which was really appreciated - the room had everything I needed, the bed was comfortable, there was plenty of outlets to charge my phone, the shower was hot and powerful, and the room itself was massive with a separate living area and a bedroom upstairs. I wish I had more time to appreciate the hotel, I'll definitely stay again if I return to Troxy.

The staff were really friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was really comfortable. The outside is beautiful, and the hallways attractively decorated. The room was nicer than you'd get at a chain hotel, with the added character of being themed which was done tastefully and not over the top. It was very warm so I was grateful for the thermostat to adjust this, and the air-con came in handy despite it being January.
